For HVAC companies
Working with HyreHVAC
HyreHVAC publishes heating and cooling research for homeowners and is building a route to local HVAC companies. Applications are open today. Not every commercial term is settled, and this page says which are. It prints no lead volumes or conversion rates, because we do not have them.
Where does contractor matching stand?
Most pages like this one open with lead volumes and conversion rates. We do not have those figures, so we are not going to print them.
What is true today: our contractor matching is still being built. Applications are open, and applying registers your business, your coverage and your capabilities so that you are in place when introductions begin.
If you need settled commercial terms before you invest any time in this, say so and we will tell you where things stand rather than sell you something that is not ready.
Why do homeowners arrive here informed?
The claims in this section are the evidenced part of the pitch, because you can check every one of them by clicking it.
HyreHVAC publishes research built on federal and state data, not rewritten press releases. A reader arriving from this site has often already:
- looked up their system’s age from the serial number using our age lookup;
- tested a repair quote against remaining service life with our repair-or-replace calculator;
- read which incentives actually survive where they live, including the ones that have ended;
- learned what a load calculation is and why sizing from the old nameplate is a defect;
- been told plainly that a refrigerant top-up without a leak search is not a repair.
That is a customer who understands why a thorough quote costs more than a thin one. For a company doing the work properly, an informed homeowner is an easier conversation, not a harder one.
Which HVAC companies is this for?
Not every applicant is accepted. These are the characteristics we look for.
- Licensed and insured
- A registered legal entity with a current trade license in a class covering heating and cooling work, and general liability cover in the contracting entity’s name.
- Certified for refrigerant work
- Where the work involves refrigerant, technicians certified under EPA Section 608 — Type II or Universal for residential split systems.
- A defined service area
- Counties or zip codes you actually cover, so nothing is routed to you two hundred miles away.
- Responsive
- Homeowners contacting a platform about a failed system are usually already frustrated. Slow contact is the commonest complaint about every service in this category.
- Comfortable with an informed customer
- Readers arriving from this site have often already looked up their equipment’s age, tested a repair quote against its service life, and read what a load calculation is. That is a shorter sales conversation, not a harder one.
What does HyreHVAC verify?
We check business identity, trade license and current status, EPA 608 certification where relevant, service area, services offered, insurance and public records. The method is published in full, including its gaps, on how we vet.
Verification is not endorsement. We publish no ranking, no score, no badge and no "best HVAC companies" list, because we hold no documented methodology that would support one. This protects you as much as the homeowner: nobody can outbid you for a position that does not exist.
Which terms are not settled yet?
Stated plainly rather than left for you to discover:
- Pricing and the participation model
- Whether inquiries are exclusive or shared
- Billing mechanics and contract terms
- Current service-area coverage
We will confirm these with you directly rather than publish a number we might have to withdraw.
How do I apply?
The application asks about your company, your coverage, your capabilities and your credentials. It takes a few minutes.
